Opening files

Five ways to open a PDF
🖥️

View modes

Switch the layout to match what you're doing
📄
Single page
Scroll one page at a time, top to bottom. The default view.
📖
Two-page spread
Show two pages side by side — great for reading like a book.
🗂️
Grid view
See every page at a glance. Click one to jump to it.
🎬
Fullscreen
Fill the whole screen — perfect for talks and presentations.
💡 Zoom: Hold Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in/out. You can also use the + / buttons or the rotate button at the top.
🎬 Enter fullscreen: Pick it from the top menu or press F5.
📄

Page management

Navigate and edit from the left panel — editing requires Editor mode
🖱️Jump to a page
Click a page thumbnail in the left list to jump straight to it.
↕️Reorder
Drag thumbnails up or down to rearrange pages freely.
Add pages
Insert a blank page, or pull in pages from another PDF file.
🗑️Delete pages
Select the pages you want to remove and press Delete or the trash button.
Select multiple pages at once: Hold Ctrl or Shift while clicking to select several pages together.
💡 No worries: When you delete or reorder pages, stamps and signatures follow along automatically. Watermarks stay in place too.
🔍

Text recognition (OCR)

Read text from scanned or image-only PDFs — Korean & English

When a PDF holds its text as images — so you can't select or search it — running OCR recognizes the characters so you can select and copy them. It runs entirely on your device, with no extra software and no internet connection.

📄Current page
Choose Current page from the OCR menu to quickly recognize just the page you're viewing.
📚Whole document
Choose Whole document to recognize every page in turn. Progress is shown, and you can cancel midway.
🖱️Select & copy
Once recognition finishes, drag over the text to select and copy it — aligned naturally to the original characters.
Fully offline: Recognition happens entirely on your device. Your document is never sent anywhere.
💡 Already has real text? You can search it directly with Ctrl+F — no OCR needed. Use OCR for scans and photos where the text is an image.
📱 On phones: Large pages or tight device memory can make recognition slow or stall. For big documents, prefer running OCR on a PC.
🖊️

Stamps, signatures & watermarks

Marks saved permanently into the PDF — available in Editor mode
📮Add a stamp
Click the stamp icon, pick a stamp, then click where you want it on the PDF. Size and angle are fully adjustable.
✍️Add a signature
Click the signature icon to open a popup. Draw your signature with the mouse or touch, then place it where you like.
🔏Add a watermark
Lay translucent text across the whole document. Set the text, size, color, and angle — it applies to every page automatically.
Delete a mark: Click a stamp or signature to select it, then press Delete or Backspace.
💡 Save to keep it: These marks are committed to the file only when you Save as PDF. See Exporting below.
✏️

On-screen markup

Highlight during talks & lectures — not saved to the file

Tools for drawing temporarily on screen. Handy for pointing out or emphasizing something during a presentation. They're never saved into the PDF, so you can wipe them clean anytime.

🖌️1 Yellow highlighter
Drag the mouse to draw freely in translucent yellow. Press 1 again to turn it off.
2 Red rectangle
Drag to draw a red outline box — great for framing an area. Press 2 again to turn it off.
🧹 Clear everything: Press ESC to erase all markup and exit drawing mode. The Reset button at the top does the same.
💡 In fullscreen: Press ESC once to clear markup, and again to leave fullscreen.
🎯

Presenter tools

A set of emphasis tools for fullscreen — built for talks & lectures

Press F5 to enter fullscreen and the presenter tools come alive. Switch tools with a single keystroke to draw on screen, point with a laser, or zoom into a spot. Everything shows on screen only and is never saved to the PDF.

✒️P Pen
Drag to draw freehand lines. Great for underlining a key point.
🖍️H Highlighter
A thick, translucent stroke that highlights over text.
R Rectangle
Drag to frame an area with a box.
A Arrow
Draw an arrow from start to end to point at a spot.
🔴L Laser pointer
A red dot follows your mouse. Point without leaving any marks.
🔎Z Spotlight zoom
Magnify around the cursor. Adjust the level with Ctrl+wheel.

While a drawing tool is active, change color and width on the fly.

🎨15 Color
Red · green · blue · yellow · orange for the pen, highlighter, rectangle, and arrow.
↔️[ ] Width
[ thinner, ] thicker — adjust the stroke width in steps.
↩️Ctrl+Z · E
Ctrl+Z undoes the last stroke; E erases everything you drew.
💡 Press the same key again to turn it off: e.g. press P once more to drop the pen and return to plain viewing.
Two-step ESC: If anything is drawn or a tool is active, one ESC clears it all. From a clean state, press ESC again to leave fullscreen.

Exporting

📄
Save as PDF
Save a PDF with stamps, signatures, and watermarks baked in. The most common way to save.
🌐
Save as HTML
Save a single HTML file that opens anywhere with just a web browser. Handy for sharing without extra software.
🖼️
Save as Images
Convert each page to a high-resolution PNG and bundle them into a ZIP. Useful when you need to edit or insert images.
📦
Save as Viewer EXE
Save a standalone executable (.exe) with the PDF embedded. The recipient just double-clicks it — the document opens without WZ PDF installed.
Available in the portable build only
